Our Story

In 2010, I discovered my love for karaoke — never imagining it would lead me into the world of DJing.

A friend I introduced to karaoke was offered a DJ position and saw something in me that I didn’t yet see in myself. With his encouragement, I began playing music for volleyball events and was soon stepping behind the DJ booth for karaoke nights. It was challenging at first — but I quickly realized this was where I belonged.

As my passion grew, so did my vision. When the company I worked with wasn’t ready to expand in the direction I saw, I chose to pursue it on my own. Around that same time, my brother passed away. I had the honor of DJing his celebration of life — a deeply meaningful moment — but when my equipment failed during the event, it shook my confidence and led me to step away from DJing for several years.

Everything changed when a close friend asked me to DJ their wedding while also serving as their best man. I partnered with another DJ to ensure it was perfect — and it was. That night reminded me why I started.

Soon after, I upgraded my equipment and officially launched Crisis Karaoke & DJ Services.

My original mission was simple:

“Be the DJ people could rely on when they found themselves in a last-minute crisis.”

Over time, I realized that life brings more than event emergencies. It brings real challenges — and real opportunities to show up for others. What started as a passion for music has grown into a commitment to serving people during important moments in their lives.
